Ship Type

The above web pages contains a list of existing plans of IJN warships. The goal is to aid researchers looking for plans of specific warships. Information presented here includes ship type, class, name, scale, date (of depicted ship configuration), and source of plan. As with my other reference material, I do not personally own all of these ship plans. Due to copyright constraints, I also will not be able to accept requests to duplicate plans.

Because of the wide range of types of plans available, the definition used here is pretty wide, and includes all plans which are significantly more detailed than the small drawings which are normally used for recognition purposes. No effort presently has been made to provide specifics as it relates to the drawings. As a result, please note that the presence of a ship in this list does not necessary imply that various perspective views are available - sometimes only one or more limited view is covered. Details on additional drawings will be added in the near future. Please contact me via e-mail if you have information on plans not included here and I will add them to the list.
