Radar - Type 13 Air Search

The Type 13 was a ladder-type radar antenna that was normally mounted on the mainmast of warships (towards the stern). It was widely used in the Imperial Japanese Navy in WWII. It had a range of 100 km/62 miles for aircarft groups and 50 km/31 miles for single aircarft. Large warships such as the battleship Yamato have a pair of these antenna mounted.
