Completed superstructure abaft the funnel. This structure contains the third Type 92, 110 cm searchlight, the second Type 94 surface fire control director, and the second/third Type 95 machine gun directors. The last two directors control the port and starboard 25 mm antiaircraft machine guns. Four of the twin mounts are also located in this structure. The last two air intakes for the rearmost boilers are also located here. The bridge-like structure under the searchlight serves as both the auxiliary bridge and gunnery command room. This is used in an emergency should the main bridge and gunnery command areas is damaged.
