The funnel is almost complete. Details added include the funnel hood, cage and division plates. I have made two renders - one traditional full color and the other using the hiddenline option. The latter allows the details of the funnel cap (which are all colored black) to be seen. The funnel cage allows the ship to cap the funnel with a canvas cover. This minimize weather and wildlife (birds) damage while the ships sits at anchorage. The division plates help to direct the smoke upwards and away from other superstructure. A handrail rings the funnel - again to facilitate maintenance. I have again pointed out the steel joining plate and holes discuss at the last 11/24/2000 update.
