A rear view of the new modified bridge structure. The compass bridge deck has now been added. There are still no windows - that will come later. 1) Is the housing for the maneuvering lights. The lights themselves have not been added but the housing is painted green (starboard) and red (port), respectively. This useful information was supplied to me by my friend Mr. Hiroyuki Yamanouchi. The lights help other ships tell which direction the ship is heading. 2, 3, 5) are support structures for the rear compass deck structure. 4) 60 cm signaling searchlight. 6) Points to the extremely rear portion of the rear compass deck which is elevated one step above the rest of the deck. 7) Ladder leading up to the compass deck.
