Using information from the excellent Kawai FBMS Model Magazines I have corrected the bridge structures since the last update (the original incorrect version is still available for comparison). There are lots of new details but the major ones are: 1) Support structure for rigging, 2) Supports for the 60 cm searchlight position has now been changed to a three (instead of four) legged structure. The forward leg now terminates into the the foremast approximately halfway down. The three legs are vertical except for the one towards the stern which angle slightly inwards towards the bow. 3) Extensions of the bridge structure which "wraps" around the foremast between lower- and upper-bridge deck level for extra support. 4) A sheltered cabin-like structure located on the forward part of the lower-bridge deck (this structure is not present in some of my references and my suspicion is that it is a structure added after the ship was launched - info from better informed readers are welcomed !). 5) Opening in the handrails for the access ladder has been moved outwards. 6 & 7) Additional bracing for upper-bridge deck.

A top view of the details of the signal deck and bridge structure. 8) Tapering of the bridge structure between the signal and compass bridge deck levels. 9) Support structure for railings. 10) Recess position on signal deck. 11) 60 cm searchlight position with railings which angle outward. I have seen drawing in which the tub itself bulge outwards in the center ! Again, info from better informed readers are welcomed. 12) Position for type 94 searchlight control. 13) 12 cm high-angle (HA) binoculars. 14) recess for foremast. 15) Opening in signal deck for ladder to upper-bridge deck.
