

Made some progress in building the hull. The above renderings represents part of the hull from the bow to hull frame# 110. As mentioned previousely, the hull is build in two halves and the above rendering represents a merging of two halves (original plus copy). The hull of the Tone class cruisers were verical in the areas of the armour belt (above water) and bulged outward in the underwater area. The buldge form a space which is often filled with timber and is used to reduce the damage which may be caused by the explosion of a torpedo.
