Started building the hull of the cruiser (CA) Tone. This rendering is part of the hull up by the bow between hull frames 10 and 25. Ship hulls are symetrical and so the most efficient method is to build half the hull at a time. The other half of the hull can be made with a duplicate and mirror image of the first hull. This also tends to give a more "accurate" look to the model as the two halves will be absolutely symetrical. The ship is currently rendered in the Maizuru Naval Arsenal grey (Snyder and Short Enterprises) as this model will be build in the configuration achieved after it's modification at the Maizuru yard between November 1944 and July 1945.
