The rules pertaining to the material which appears in the IJN Lore pages are as follows:

1. The material will be mostly pictorial (not textual) in nature.
2. Only newly discovered information related to the IJN (vs. known and published information) will be covered.
3. This website will not "echo" IJN-related discoveries covered in the press, or other websites (except for those which first shows up in "Japanese Navy & Ships" site).
4. The author of this website will make every attempt to ensure that the information posted here is accurate but cannot assumes any responsibilities for errors.
5. Each "story" will ideally be succinct, and take up one web page.
6. Due credit will be given to the source of the story, image, and contributors.
7. The contributors to the story will be acknowledged according to the timing of their contribution, with the initial author's name always coming first.
8. If the author of this site is not the contributor or source of the story,permission will be obtained from the rightful contributor before the information is posted.
9. All image sources will be posted.
10. The author of this page will reserve the right to make the final judgment as to what will be in the IJN Lore pages. Suggestions are always welcomed but they are not necessary always accepted.
11. The source of the material will mostly come from the "J-Aircraft" "Japanese Navy & Ships" site, although other sources will be welcomed.
12. The purpose of these pages is not to serve as a comprehensive archival site for J-Aircraft "Japanese Navy & Ships" site.
13. Information covered will remain "fluid" and thus can be amended if new and more accurate data surfaces.
